Crankcase System Test: Excessive pressure or corrosion of the crankcase is the main reason to damage the seal of the crankcase and cause oil leakage. Intake System Test: Leakage in the air intake system will lead to insufficient intake of the car engine, which will result in scant engine power. Car Sealing Test: Poor airtightness of the car may lead to a lot of inconvenience like inability to keep warm dusty, not soundproof, and not waterproof, etc. Fuel Tank System Test: When there are gaps in the fuel tank and piping caused by improper installation or insufficient sealing of the fuel tank cap, it can cause leaks in the fuel tank system. Turbo Test: The leakage of coolant would cause the engine to report high water temperature. Standard Cone Adapter: φ30-85mm, used to seal the air intake ports & introduce smoke into the exhaust system. Power Cord Clamp: The cable length is 1.5m with 10A rated current, used to connect the device to the battery power supply. Valve Core Wrench: The double heads measure φ4mm/6mm with an overall length of 122mm & used as a tool to remove and install the EVAP service port valve core. Hook: Used for hanging products. EVAP Special Connector: φ12.7mm, connects to the car's EVAP access port, which then introduces smoke. Test Oil Refill Bottle: The capacity is 100ml & used for adding smoke test oil. How to do leakage test?

Step 1: Fill 10ml-20ml baby oil to the detector for the first time. Step 2: Open the engine cover, and hang the detector in the cover. Step 3: Disconnect the pipe that needs to be connected with detector. Step 4: Connect detector with DC12V battery, turn on the power switch, and the detector starts to work. Step 5: In about 30 seconds, the pipe will be filled with smoke. Check the leak points. Please use head lamp if necessary.

How to judge leak?

No Leaks: The pressure gauge value remains unchanged. Small Leaks: The pressure gauge value drops. Large Leaks: The pressure gauge value drops dramatically and almost reaches zero.

Warm Notes:

In first time use, please fill with 10ml test liquid into the car smoke leak detector. Both liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK, but please NOT to beyond this range of 10ml. Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the oil left in the detector. The fresh oil can be filled with only when the smoke gets thin, can't be filled over 20ml each time. During the process of leak detection, must keep away from smoke-sensitive parts. Please be careful with the round part of the leak detector with high temperature to avoid burns hurt. Do NOT use the leak detector over 8 minutes continuously. Once the high temperature protection mechanism triggered, please make it interval rest and operate later.

About Maintenance:

With longtime high temperature work, the smoke and oil will oxidize and deteriorate. It will infect the service life of smoke generated part, so please change smoke and oil regularly. Before filling new oil, please pour out the remaining oil in the detector. When the smoke output has water drops, please replace with new oil. Liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK. Please fill new oil with equipped oil bottom.
